Wings of Fire book 1

Hi there!

Just so you know, I will be doing a post on each book in the Wings of Fire series!

YAY!

Ok. Here goes.

Book 1 has two versions: The chapter book and the graphic novel.
The graphic novels are like the comic version of the series, being almost exactly the same as
 the original books. *Some words may be different!* I would recommend reading the original book before the graphic novel.

    

Book one, The Dragonet Prophecy,'s protagonist is Clay, a MudWing who just wants to know who his parents are! The Dragonet Prophecy was written by the mysterious NightWings.

THE DRAGONET PROPHECY
When the war has lasted twenty years,
the dragonets with come.

When the land is soaked in blood and tears,
the dragonets will come.

Find the SeaWing egg of deepest blue,
Wings of Night shall come to you.
The largest egg in mountain high
will give to you the wings of Sky.
For wings of Earth, search through the mud
for and egg the color of dragon blood.
And hidden away from the rival queens,
the SandWing egg awaits unseen.

Of three queens who blister and blaze and burn,
two shall die and one shall learn.
If she bows to a fate that is stronger and higher,
she'll have the power of Wings of Fire.

Five eggs to hatch on brightest night...
five dragons born to end the fight.
Darkness shall rise to bring the light.
The dragonets are coming...

Clay and his friends, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny, have been trapped under a mountain for six years. Tsunami wants to escape. Glory and Starflight agree. Sunny doesn't. Clay is stuck in the middle.

With no choice but to help his friends, he escapes with them, only to find a world outside that
would just LOVE to imprison the sacred Dragonets of Destiny!

Wings of Fire is MY FAVORITE BOOK out of all my favorite books!
